On April 3, 2023 the County held a public hearing and approved a findings resolution related to the the installment financing of the airport hangar project. On April 27, 2023, the County received bids for the construction of the hangars and prices were higher than the current estimates therefore the public hearing and findings resolution need to be held and approved again. The application for financing was submitted to the LGC on May 2, 2023.
Public Notice was given for the public hearing on May 4, 2023 and May 7, 2023.
Total cost of the project is approximately $21,438,000. The County has $3 million in State Capital Infrastructure Funds (SCIF) and $1 million in County Funding for the project. Total cost to be financed is $17,438,000.
