Rowan County and Mid-Carolina Airport worked with Talbert, Bright & Ellington Engineering & Planning Consultants (TBE) and received proposals for the taxiway rehab project. After a re-bid, Two bid responses were received.
The County would like to award the bid to J.T. Russell & Sons, Inc. who submitted the lowest total base bid in the amount of $1,525,400.00. Requesting award only at this time, vendor requires an award notification in order to request all required bonds for final contract. Once final documentation for contract has been received, the County will present for contract approval and authorization.
The County received Two (2) Funding Grants for this project; Parallel Taxiway Rehab Grant (100%) and the Runway Overlay Grant (90/10 Split)
