Rowan County and Mid-Carolina Airport worked with Talbert, Bright & Ellington Engineering & Planning Consultants (TBE) and received proposals for the new corporate and box hangars project. Three bid responses were received.
The County would like to award the bid to KMD Construction who submitted the lowest total base bid in the amount of $17,369,522.80. Requesting award only at this time, vendor requires an award notification in order to request all required bonds for final contract. Once final documentation for contract has been received, the County will present for contract approval and authorization.
The County received SCIF Funding for this project and any remaining balance will be included within debt financing and County funds.
