In the early 1990s, the Federal Aviation Administration installed radio equipment at the airport called a Remote Transmitter Receiver (RTR). This equipment allows aircraft to communicate with air traffic control, such as to pick up instrument flight clearances, prior to taking off. The FAA would like to enter a new lease with the Airport (County) at the rate of $25 per month for 35sqft of storage space for this equipment. The term of the lease will be through September 30, 2033.
Approve the lease for the FAA Radio Transmitter Receiver equipment. Three hard copies with wet ink signatures will need to be sent back to the FAA for their signatures and execution of the agreement.
