Please find attached:
- Resolution declaring as surplus the 1.478 acre
parcel across from the West Branch Library and also declaring the purpose
of the donation is for Cleveland to build a park that supports the
library; and
- Deed transferring the
parcel; and
- Plat showing the parcel.
Per my conversation with Jim Greene last week, the Town has
requested that the County donate/transfer the parcel so that it can build a
park. If my memory serves me, there was some playground equipment over
there when there was a school, but I do not know if anything is there or
not. I also believe that there will be some parking over there that will
serve the library, but Jim can add some details of his conversations with the
Town.
Motion to approve (1) the Resolution declaring Lot 1 of Book
of Maps 9995 Page 8926 surplus, and (2) the deed transferring the parcel to the
Town of Cleveland for purposes of building a park.
