On 03-07-22, the Board of Commissioners approved a request to conduct a public hearing to consider revisions to the Rowan County Code of Ordinances Article II - Personnel Sec. 2-35 and Rowan County Personnel Policy 9.13 Employees Serving on Boards, Committees, Etc. The language from the ordinance has not been revised since 1987, and it currently limits an employee's ability to serve the citizens of Rowan County.
Human Resources respectfully requests that, after the public hearing is held, the Board of Commissioners approve the proposed revisions to the Rowan County Code of Ordinances Article II - Personnel Sec. 2-35 and Rowan County Personnel Policy 9.13 Employees Serving on Boards, Committees, Etc.
