This task order is subsequent to our current landfill consulting services contract performed by HDR Inc. and represents the creation of construction permit application (per NCDEQ rule .1617) which will include design work, construction drawings, construction application and associated management plans and includes a hydrogeological study. All work described in this task order is currently budgeted. The task items described in this document are necessary to facilitate bid package and construction of our phase V landfill expansion project which is underway in an effort to ensure solid waste capacity for Rowan County.
It is the recommendation of the Rowan County Department of Environmental Management that the BOC approve this task order in an effort to ensure solid waste disposal capacity for Rowan County.
