Attached is a draft lease for The High Road, Inc lease of the old Tsunami space in the WEP. Kenny Hardin has reviewed and approved the lease on his end, and the Board of Commissioners approved “entering into a lease” at its planning retreat on January 18, 2022. Also attached are the corporate Articles of Incorporation and IRS charitable designation documents.
Terms are:
One (1) year initial term, with 4 renewals of 1 year each;
$1.00 per year lease rate;
Tenant pay its own utilities;
Tenant responsible for repair and upfits inside the space; and
County maintain exterior systems and roof.
The County Attorney and Purchasing Director recommend a motion to approve the attached Lease between Rowan County and The HG High Road, Inc. for 2700 square feet designated as space C-3 in the West End Plaza.
